There is a very small percentage of taxidermy studios approved by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) to directly receive and handle restricted import animal trophies from foreign countries.  Subdivisions of the USDA in which we are approved include Animal and Plant Heath Inspection Service (APHIS), Veterinary Services (VS), and the National Center for Import and Export (NCIE).

We are an approved establishment and by being so, we can give foreign trophy shipments the personal attention it deserves. This will also save the client extra costs incurred with unnecessary foreign shipment handling fees, additional shipping fees, etc. incurred with having the shipment sent to another approved establishment that is not the taxidermist.

When planning a hunting trip to a foreign country, it is best to stop in to our studio and discuss the process of shipping, processing, and receiving the trophy shipment.  We will provide you with an informational packet explaining the whole process, as well as laminated trophy tags and shipping information.
